Public promoter TELT and Consortium CO 6-7 (including VINCI Construction Grands Projets and Webuild) are at the forefront of the new Lyon-Turin railway line project for the Saint Martin-La-Porte to Modane section, part of the significant European network initiative TEN-T.
The project involves building a 270-kilometer railway line between Lyon, France, and Turin, Italy, designed to reduce truck traffic and environmental impact in the Alpine region. The project has to tackle a wide range of geological challenges that demand advanced construction techniques. Building Information Modeling (BIM) and cloud-based collaboration play a crucial role in the tunnel’s development.
