#intersections VOL.6 : Smart & sustainable buildings

How digital technology accelerates the transition to smarter and greener buildings

Join the Printemps numérique [ Digital Spring ] on November 21 at the Canadian Center for Architecture (CCA) for the 6th volume of #intersections on smart and sustainable buildings.

#intersections VOL.6 is organized in collaboration with CMTLand the City of Montreal as part of the Sustainable Montreal 2016-2020 Plan.

The building of tomorrow is sustainable and smart!
Did you know that 33% of Montreal’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are emitted by residential, commercial and institutional buildings? A successful transition to a greener economy requires the transformation of the building sector.
How to reconcile economic, social and environmental performance with comfort? Is this transition cost-effective? What are the main challenges? What are the tools available to succeed in this transition?

Join us at #intersections VOL.6 to learn more about the digital transformation of buildings and how it impacts the way we design, build, manage, work and live in these buildings.

The panel, moderated by Catherine Mathys, will bring together 4 experts from various sectors to explore and discuss the tools, methods, and challenges related to the digital transformation of buildings.

◆◆ Emmanuel Di Giacomo, BIM Ecosystem Development Manager, Autodesk

◆◆ Alain Sayegh, Director – Integration of new technology, Hydro-Québec

◆◆ Alain Boilard, General director – Campus MIL development, Université de Montréal

◆◆ Ahmed Ryad Sbartaï, Expert and BIM solutions leader, Zenit Consultants
